SCO's Housing Program
Laying the Foundation for Success
While housing itself is critical, the environmental conditions of the housing are also important to an individual's recovery journey. Our tenants often share an apartment with others who are also in recovery in order to cultivate an environment that supports their path to sobriety. Additionally, we provide furnishings, new linens, and toiletries so individuals can easily transition without worrying about upfront costs or access to necessary resources.
With community as a pillar for success, we currently have 13 properties all on one block in a centrally located residential neighborhood in Albany, NY. These properties are conveniently located within walking distance to essential amenities and resources such grocery stores and public transportation.
Our ultimate goal with our Housing Program is to create an environment where residents can build social connections, achieve personal growth, and maintain long-term sobriety.
