About Us

Second Chance Opportunities, Inc. (SCO) provides support to people in recovery from substance use disorder. By offering a range of wraparound services to individuals in all stages of their recovery journey, we’re bridging the gap between treatment and a life centered in recovery.

Our mission is to empower individuals in recovery by providing them with resources and support to help them learn, grow, and become strong members of the recovery community. Through 12-step programs, support groups with 12-step affiliations, and activities, we connect people to the recovery community.

Removing Barriers to Recovery

In 2001, individuals with firsthand experience of recovery-related barriers joined forces to support others in overcoming these challenges. What began as a vision to create sober and recovery-focused housing for individuals after treatment grew to assisting people with employment needs and beyond.

Fast-forward to today, SCO provides recovery-focused housing rentals, addresses employment challenges through a janitorial services company, and operates as a community center offering coaching, sober programming, and raising awareness about addiction and recovery.
