Kellie has been in recovery for over 30 years, loves connecting with people who walk through the door, advocates on a daily basis for the community, remains humble, and enjoys spending time with her family. She also just learned how to crochet and continues to find out new things about herself!

Chief Financial Officer
Chelsea graduated with a master’s in accounting from UAlbany and has worked in the field for over 10 years. She is a huge fan of country music and loves to go to the beach!

Housing Director
Rudy oversees all fifteen buildings on Morris Street of tenants in the Recovery Housing Program. Rudy has been in recovery for over ten years, likes to play video games, spend time with his family, and advocate for the recovery community.

Recovery Center Director
Katrina brings over twenty years of experience supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use. When she’s not at the center, you’ll find Katrina cooking or baking something delicious, spoiling her granddaughters, or writing from the heart.

Dylan
Contract Coordinator
Dylan oversees all of the janitorial contracts and staff members. Dylan also coordinates all the services for all janitorial contracts. Dylan is a family member of those in recovery, loves to golf, and is a history buff.

Transportation Coordinator
Cara Mia schedules rides for transportation and helps keep the office running smoothly. She has been in recovery for over a year. She likes traveling to the ocean and spending time with her three little girls.

Health Screening Program Coordinator
Marly is the Health Screening Program Coordinator. Marly leads a team of social care navigators who assess community members’ needs and connect them with resources that improve access to care and support. Marly is a person in recovery since September of 2020. She has a passion for fashion and enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband.

Savannah does payroll and human resources for Second Chance Opportunities, Inc. Savannah has been in recovery for over five and a half years, has three cats named Obi, Jyn, and Maz, loves to read, and is expecting her first child!

Executive Assistant
Erica is the assistant to Kellie Roe as well as office manager, a CRPA, and Recovery Coach Academy Trainer. Erica has been in recovery since January of 2019, is a huge Swiftie, loves her cats Cassie and Ziggy, and spending time traveling with her fiancé and family.

Fundraising Coordinator & Social Media Manager
Kaelin does all social media marketing for Second Chance Opportunities, Inc. as well as fundraising and event coordinating for Recovery in the Park and the Amazing Race to Recovery. Kaelin loves Taylor Swift, her four cats Max, Milo, Leo, and Levi, and going to concerts with her friends and boyfriend.

Accounting Assistant
Ethan assists Chelsea, our CFO, and is responsible for all day-to-day bookkeeping. Ethan is a big Harry Potter fan, is an avid Pokémon card collector, and likes to travel with his girlfriend, friends, and family.

Contract Coordinator
Charles oversees the janitorial contracts for Second Chance Opportunities, Inc. Charles has been in recovery for a little over 2 years and really loves seafood, going out to eat, and spending quality time with his daughter.

North Country Supervisor
RJ oversees the North Country janitorial contracts and staff members. RJ has been in recovery for over five years, likes hunting, relaxing at home, and spending time with his daughter Skyler.

Front Desk Administrative Assistant
Syira is the front desk administrative assistant. She answers phones, greets visitors, schedules intakes, and is in charge of general office tasks for the Recovery Community Center. She has been in recovery since October of 2022. She enjoys spending time with her family and is going to school for nursing. Syira has a great passion for helping people.

Matt also oversees the fleet of vehicles under Second Chance Opportunities Outreach Transportation (SCOOT). Matt has been in recovery for over 18 months, and enjoys swimming, playing basketball, and cutting hair in his free time.

Daisy serves as a Social Care Navigator, supporting members of our community by helping ensure they receive the resources and services necessary for their overall well-being. She is dedicated to connecting individuals with the support they need to live healthier and more stable lives. Daisy has been in recovery since July 2022, and her lived experience inspires the compassion and care she brings to her work each day. Outside of work, Daisy enjoys caring for her multitude of plants and spending quality time with her family, which brings her joy and balance.

Alexis serves as a Social Care Navigator, where she helps individuals in the community connect with resources and services that support their health, stability, and overall well-being. She is committed to helping people navigate available resources so they can access the care and assistance they need to improve their quality of life. Alexis has been in recovery since February 2024, and her personal journey allows her to bring compassion, understanding, and genuine support to the individuals she works with. Outside of her professional role, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family and being in the sun!

Through her work, she is dedicated to helping individuals navigate services and build stronger, healthier futures. Kenyatta has been in recovery since December 12, 2023, and her personal journey guides her passion for supporting others along their path to wellness. Her lived experience allows her to connect with compassion, understanding, and authenticity. Outside of work, Kenyatta enjoys spending time with her family and is a faithful and active member of her church community, where she continues to find strength, purpose, and fellowship.

Prior to his retirement, Brian had overseen all janitorial contracts and operations of Second Chance Opportunities, Inc. since the beginning. Brian celebrates over 28 years in recovery and enjoys the Yankees and going on vacation to the Jersey Shore with his family.
